Cultural Heritage Preservation Award Acceptance Speech

Mr Alimami received the award for cultural heritage preservation for doing amazing work in the cultural heritage area 2024. He was welcomed with the African drum roll and the crowd made some noise as he stepped on the stage. He said he was overwhelmed with  gratitude for being selected to receive the cultural heritage preservation award. Likewise, he thanked the almighty Allah who made it possible for him to reach that remarkable Milestone. Furthermore, he also thanked his community members, friends and colleagues for their support. He said he was honored for his work to be recognized this way by the African Descent In Ontario, mentioning that the honor was not just a reflection of his efforts but a testament of collective actions of togetherness which defines the African community.  He also mentioned that he would never have imagined his humble and small contributions leading to such a profound impact, and he said none of that could have happened without countless individuals and organizations who give support in  making such a  difference. Finally he thanked his  family especially his mom his wife and lovely kids for their endless support and encouragement. Lastly he thanked the entire membership of the African Descent Ontario and its Executives for such a tremendous honor and all dedicated volunteers and all those who took time out of their busy schedules to make the event a success ‘thank you all God  bless Canada, God bless’ was his very last remarks.
