Dr. Kingsley O. Nwachukwu is a clinician, an academic, a philanthropist and speaker. He is a consultant psychiatrist currently practicing in Saskatchewan, Canada, in Forensics and General Adult Psychiatry, and an associate clinical professor of psychiatry. He has successfully practiced in three continents; Africa, Europe, and North America (where he currently works). He also hold a master’s of science (MSc) degree in Global Health from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and a doctorate degree (PhD) in Public Health Epidemiology from United States of America (USA), alongside postgraduate diplomas in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and Health Services Management from United Kingdom and Ireland.

He is the current Area Department Lead in the North West Area Region and Chief Psychiatrist, in Saskatchewan. Lead psychiatrist for North Battleford (Saskatchewan Hospital and Battleford Union Hospital), Lloydminster, Meadow Lake, La Ronge and La Loche, in Saskatchewan, Canada.
He is one of the pioneers and trainers, in the forensic psychiatry subspecialty-training program in Saskatchewan and he is in charge of the forensic training program.

For many years, he has also doubled periodically as the Director of Forensic Services, at Saskatchewan Hospital. He is a pioneer and psychiatrist lead of the residency-training program in psychiatry, including family medicine residents, in North West, Saskatchewan. Over the years, He has served as advisory board member in three pharmaceutical companies, has been involved in their researches, and spoken for them.

His research is in disability and advocacy for the vulnerable. He does private consulting in matters of mental health and Global and Public Health, as expert in these fields, for countries and organizations.

In addition, he is the President, CEO and Founder of Blessworld Centers for Positive Social Change (BWCPSC) in Blessworld Foundation International (BWFI), where a blend of appropriate partners, charitable and non-governmental organizations, build sustainable human capacities through edutainment and therapeutic mental and global health programs.
He is determined to close the gap in a generation significantly created by significant lapses in aftercare, especially for the sufferers of mental health and addiction disorders. In the last 10 years, he has successfully sponsored several life-changing programs in Africa and Canada.
In conjunction with his team, he has organized two successful seasons of talent shows titled “Cradle to Fame” in Nigeria with a blend of edutainment and human capacity building.
